Traditional Tea Party

It’s a very exciting and busy afternoon at ZCF Tea Party! It is the first event of the year where the competing girls get to meet and greet everyone for the first time. While donning their cocktail party dresses, they mingle with the crowd, get interviewed, have a quick merienda and dash to a photo shoot. The outgoing queens, the competing girls as well as their escorts, break out to different photo sessions, that also serve to illustrate the official ZCF program book. It is a fun filled evening they will never forget.

Welcome, everyone!

It’s that time of year again, Zapata County Fair! This event practically takes a full year of preparation and planning, and it shows by the sea of smiling faces at every event. A lot of work goes into the ZCF: from the raising of prize animals to be auctioned to the handling of the ever bigger crowds that swell our little town three times its size for 3 consecutive days.

Mark your calendars: March 12-14, 2020. Zapata braces itself to welcome everyone for three unforgettable days… Zapata County Fair, “The Biggest Little Town Fair in Texas!”
